Hippielikeahippo: I live in Utah. It's not so bad as Louisiana, but because of my job (an LGBT rights group) I get to see the worst of it. I have met so many people who try to push their beliefs on others in the cruelest ways, completely abandoning their own children because they are atheist. Utah is basically mormon-run. Trying to get a equal workplace ordinance passed there is the hardest thing I've ever done. But hey, because there's a lot of bad, there's a lot of room for improvement! :)
